By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Where you accept on behalf of an organization (e.g., a league or club), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Onboarding and account creation may require you to confirm agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing, if higher) to create an account and use the Service.
If you are between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly permit registration by children under 16. See our Privacy Policy (Children’s Privacy).

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Unless we approve otherwise, each individual should maintain only one player account tied to their identity.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Ballo application for your personal or organizational sports tracking purposes.

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation (excluding your User Content), is owned by Ballo or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
“User Content” means content you submit, upload, or make available through the Service, including profile information, images, videos, team/league branding, statistics you record, and social links.
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Ballo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, adapt (e.g., transcoding thumbnails), and otherwise use your User Content solely to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Service and enforce these Terms.
This license continues until you delete the content or your account, except where retention is permitted under our Privacy Policy (e.g., backups, legal obligations, or content others have lawfully relied upon in league records).
You represent that you own or have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights.

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
Match statistics, ratings, leaderboards, standings, badges, match predictions (win probabilities), and similar features are generated from user-entered and system-calculated data. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Do not rely on the Service for official competition results, contracts, scouting decisions, or disputes without independent verification.
“Predictions” / win probabilities displayed in the app are heuristic estimates based on historical performance data. They are for fun only — not offers to gamble, financial advice, or guarantees of outcome. Ballo does not provide real-money betting.
Physical activity involves inherent risks of injury. You participate in real-world sports at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries, property damage, or losses arising from participation in sports activities related to your use of the Service.
If you create or administer a league, team, or match using the Service, you additionally agree that you:
League creators have elevated write permissions for matches in leagues they created (as implemented in our backend policies). You are responsible for how you use those permissions.
In addition to Section 6, you may not:
Report violations, abusive content, or safety concerns to [email protected] with relevant URLs, usernames, and descriptions. You may also use in-app report and block tools where available.
We may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy (including in-app deletion where available).
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required by law.
Upon termination, your license ends. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive.
The Service is currently offered without in-app purchases or subscriptions based on the current application version. If we introduce paid features later, supplemental payment terms will apply. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once consumed.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BALLO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ballo from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your organization or administration of leagues/teams if you are an organizer.

If unresolved, disputes will be brought in the courts of the Republic of Uganda, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply.
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice (e.g., in-app). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
